Jennifer Siegfried

Jenn has dedicated her career to innovative approaches to teaching and learning both in and out of the classroom. As a middle school English and social studies teacher, she started her education career in New England and North Carolina working on two-person transdisciplinary teams implementing project-based approaches and was certified in the International Baccalaureate program. She was a teacher fellow with the National Geographic Society writing curriculum in Washington D.C. focused on the Five Themes of Geography and later a curriculum designer for the Weather Channel’s Storm Stories series. Jenn later worked for one of the larger U.S. educational publishers to co-write and design a standards-based, integrated comprehensive curriculum based on the student-centered Reggio Emilia philosophy that was marketed and adopted by state curriculum boards across the United States and went on to lead the education team and oversee professional development and government relations initiatives.


Jenn has her B.A. in English and Secondary Education from St. Michael’s College, a M.Ed in Teacher Leadership from the University of New Hampshire, and her Ed.D in Curriculum, Teaching, Learning, and Leadership from Northeastern University.
