I have been a school counselor for over 15 years and have been active in education for even longer! I was born and raised in Connecticut, but I have lived in many different states including MA, OH, AR, VT, AZ, and NH. For the past 15 years, I have lived with my husband, three kids, two cats, and one lizard in Londonderry. I earned my undergraduate degree from Eastern CT State University and my Masters in Education from Kent State University in Ohio.  

My love for education and school counseling began in High School. As someone who moved around a lot as a kid, and was therefore often the "new kid," I relied a lot on my teachers and guidance counselors to make me feel welcome. I was a Resident Assistant during college and a Resident Director at Kent State. All of these experiences helped me to pursue my true passion of helping others.  

In my spare time, I enjoy hiking, bird watching, movies, music, comedy, and traveling. I love all things "nerdy": Harry Potter, Star Trek, video games, etc.  I'm also obsessed with trivia, but can be very competitive! I look forward to coming to Kreiva everyday and working with students, teachers, and families!
